I used to believe
That the best thing in life
Came from a secret bottle
That I might one day find
Floating in the sea.
Inside, there would be a
Hand written message
Of someone that was
Looking for me.
Always when near water,
I look for the floating bottle.
Always in rain filled streets,
I peer down the gutter--
Hoping to find something bobbing
With a message inside
For me.
I don't believe this anymore.
Now I just believe in you.
