A tuft of blond hair
Stands up like a broom,
Alarming her eye
A dog-eared dress jacket
Clings to his chest,
Sounding hot sirens
But it is the belt,
It is the belt
That quiets her panic --
There isn't one
The pants pull
His bottom down,
The cuffs scrape
Along the street
It is the corner bum
She sees each morning,
But at first glance
He always reminds her
Of someone else
