Machu Picchu :: Large Scooting Stone ::
Shortly before traveling to Peru, I write a story about my little green stone. The significance of the story is two-fold. My little green stone, who I name Pablo, is scooting -- half in shadows and half in light. Pablo, I write, is in a state of utter transformation. In books, this large stone at Machu Picchu is said to be in transition, but my guide says the word, "scooting." I immediately take Pablo out of my pocket and introduce him to his master.
